I would have been released under the following conditions: I would have to settle in France until the whole trial is over, probably for 5 to 7 years; I would not be allowed to leave France; I would have to report to police authorities every week; I would not be allowed to speak to Ms. Sixt, the former president of the Association for the German New Medicine in Chambéry, or to anyone else about the German New Medicine, I would have to put up €150,000 as bail, an amount which I would never get back; I would have to comply with any request to appear before court (surely to be witness to some new fabrications of guilt or arrest warrants). My lawyers recommended that I sign this offer which is nothing short of suicidal execution and which would mean the end of my scientific activities. My enemies would have been exalted at the prospect of a German New Medicine without Hamer! There we have it! In consequence I revoked the mandate from all lawyers.“]. Since we have received many inquiries on the matter, we would like to clarify the following: The attorney registered at the Cour de Cassation continues to work for him, of course. His Spanish lawyer is still active at the constitutional court with regards to the Euro order. However, there is no need for additional lawyers at the moment because nothing can be done on the legal front other than wait for the verdict by the Cour de Cassation. A decision will probably be rendered in March, but so far we have not received any official statement. The Court’s attorney nevertheless believes that there are enough points in our favor and that we stand a good chance of winning the proceedings, although nobody can really predict what is going to happen in terms of a decision – especially not in a case like Dr. Hamer’s. Because the trial is pending we are not in a position to divulge any details. If the decision rendered by the Cour de Cassation is a positive one, then the verdict of Chambéry will be declared void and Dr. Hamer will be allowed to return to his residence. And only then will he require another lawyer (a penalist lawyer) for the new trial before a new tribunal. In a private letter Dr. Hamer explained his decision once more. Here are some excerpts: They simply never filed a petition to have the trial referred back to the first instance (in proper compliance with the statutes of the Euro order) although I asked them in writing in 20 different ways, even through the German Embassy – they forgot, so they say. This destroyed my trust completely because I have lived through the same thing in the first two instances when I had to revoke the lawyers’ mandate because they had not filed a request to hear evidence on the accuracy of the German New Medicine. At the previous trial in Cologne my lawyer merely offered to hear evidence, an offer which the judge was able to refuse without consequences. However, the judge should have accepted that request to hear evidence (which was and still is my right, by the way), but nobody wants to accept it. Therefore I had no choice but to dismiss the lawyers. The lawyers have received my letter today, a copy of which was sent to (XX) but intercepted at around 10 a.m. At 12:30 pm I was informed that I was expected in the psychiatric ward, an invitation which I declined. I was asked twice more during my outings in the courtyard. Each time I responded with a polite ”no, thank you”. They will probably try to talk me into something or threaten a compulsory psychiatric evaluation if I persist in saying NO and refuse the release offer. With this move the authorities were obviously trying to render any decision on a release from the Cour the Cassation futile. Or else, they wanted to dodge public opinion and, at the same time, elegantly get me out of the way for the rest of my life. NO – I endured one year of jail in Cologne, and I can do the same here. But I must ask one thing of you: For heaven’s sake, keep up the pressure with our actions! In fact, you have to create more pressure. This is our only chance! Tell your friends that the French authorities have only one goal in mind – to destroy the German New Medicine and myself. Traveler, if you come to Germany Tell them you saw me in the concentration camp as was decreed by the law. Just before Christmas, on December 21, his partner was allowed to see him for the first time, and that for 30 minutes – despite the request for one hour made by herself and Dr. Hamer and despite the fact that visitors from abroad are usually granted one hour. She brought a package containing warm clothes but was not allowed to give it to him personally. Until last week, Dr. Hamer still had not received the package. This means that he is still suffering from the cold because the cell is not heated and because he could only bring a few clothes from Madrid, and at that time temperatures were milder.
