Dear Friends:
We would like to forward to you excerpts from a letter written by Dr. Hamer:
"Last night at 9 pm the chief warden came to see me. He told me that Judge Bessy had ordered me to go to Chambéry, and that I would be brought there by force, if needed. I was wondering why and what for, but then I thought that this wasn’t a Libération conditionelle but rather correctionelle, and that therefore there would be no harm in me going there and saying a few words. Well, I was woken at 5 am. Half an hour later I had to endure a body search twice (and twice completely naked). They shackled my wrists (very tight, causing considerable pain) and then we left; it took approximately one hour to get to the train station in the north of Paris. We spent 20 minutes finding our way through the station, and obviously there were lots of onlookers staring at me as if I was a dangerous criminal. Finally we reached the police station. Thirty minutes later the whole procedure once more to the 8.15 train to Chambéry. The shackles made it difficult to sit comfortably, but other than that it was a rather agreeable train ride. For "security reasons" I was given a window seat. The landscape in that region is similar to ours in September – fields of winter wheat as far as the eye can see. At noon we arrived at Chambéry (having had no breakfast or anything else to eat). Again, running the gauntlet one more time before a gawking crowd on the train platforms. One of the two policemen accompanying me, quite polite I must admit, pulled me on a leash behind him like a dog. Another 20 minutes spent waiting at the Chambéry train station, all the time being stared at. We were met by police from Chambéry. At the local police station I was given two cookies to eat and some water, and I was even allowed to visit the restroom. They were dawdling quite a bit so I ended up arriving at the court 25 minutes late. As I entered my lawyer was in the process of delivering her presentation. Judge Bessy addressed me as "Mr. Hamer" and asked me to speak. I immediately corrected him in French saying that my name was "Dr. Hamer", which he acknowledged. He had just mentioned something about a "conditional" release when I interrupted saying that I would only speak if it was "correctional". This was accepted, and then, in very polite words, I started my plea in French. I bet Judge Bessy has never seen anything like it:
that I was innocent, not having been to France in 13 or 14 years, not knowing of any case in France, that this whole business of accusation and verdict was a fictitious and deliberate legal fabrication against anything considered rightful and just, that the court had obtained the extradition order through fraud, and that it wasn’t me who had committed fraud but rather the court by using the word "fraud" in the European arrest order. The judge found it seemingly difficult but allowed me to continue: I said that the court had presented France with the worst legal scandal, 100 times more disastrous than the Vatican inquisition of Galileo and 10 times worse than Waterloo! – In the future nobody would ever believe anything the judges have done at Chambéry. That hit home!
My lawyer was thrilled, but although she thought that most likely nothing would come of this trial, she praised my elegant way of reading them the "riot act".
So much for the excerpt from his letter of October 27, 2005.
The main purpose of this trial was to determine whether Dr. Hamer would have to serve his full sentence or whether he might be released early. However, why Dr. Hamer had to appear in person can only be the subject of speculation.
Dear friends of the GNM, despite this blatant injustice, despite the deprivation, chicanery and humiliation, Dr. Hamer is doing reasonably well and he remains in high spirits!
Long live Dr. Hamer and his German New Medicine! Viva la medicina sagrada!
